Rolled oat biscuits

50g butter or margarine, 25g of rolled oats, 55g of flour, 65g of sugar, 1 pinch of baking powder, 1 teaspoon of cream, 3-4 tablespoons of golden syrup, baking paper


Melt the butter in a covered dish at 500W for 2 minutes. Add the remaining ingredients and stir well to form a smooth mixture. Cut 3 circles of baking paper the same size as the crisp plate. Divide the mixture into 3 equal parts and use one part to make 6 balls. Arrange them in a circle on the baking paper in the crisp plate. Cook on crisp for 3-4 minutes until the biscuits are golden brown, Remove the paper with the biscuits and allow them to cool on a flat surface. Make the second and third batch of biscuits following the same procedure, but reducing cooking time for these batches by 2-3 minutes.
