Quiche Lorraine

Preparation time: 10 minutes


Serves: 3-4

Pastry; 130g of flour, 90g butter or margarine, 1 and a half tablespoons water. Filling: 100g smoked ham, 100g grated gruyere cheese, 2 eggs, 150ml cream (or cream and milk mixed), salt and paprika.


To make the pastry, mix the flour and butter together and add the water to form a dough. Roll out the pastry and line the crisp plate with it, pricking it all over with a fork. Chill the pastry case, and meanwhile prepare the filling. Dice the ham, set it aside and mix together the eggs, cream, salt and paprika in a mixing bowl. Cook the pastry case for 5-6 minutes on Crisp. Arrange the ham and cheese in the pre baked pastry case and pour the egg mixture on top. Cook on Crisp for 9-10minutes
